                     Dawn
Dawn Baker has been a Certified Fitness Professional since 2010. She Founded One Accord Fitness, LLC. worked Independently as a Mobile Trainer, and from her own gym. She has experience as a Contracted Trainer in Boutique Fitness studios, Personal Trainer in Commercial gyms, Group Fitness and Boot Camp Instructor. Dawn has an AA-T in Kinesiology from Bakersfield College, a BS in Kinesiology from California State University, Bakersfield, and a Human Kinetics Degree through continued education coursework. She holds many certifications and is continually expanding her knowledge to continue relevant, safe practices, applicable programming and effective results for her clients. She believes you should know what you’re doing, why you’re doing it and how it will benefit you. Dawn has been fortunate to work with a varied clientele from ages 14-89, male and female. Many rehabbing from injuries or conditions, disabilities, disorders and chronic diseases. She brings in anyone that is part of your journey to maintain consistency and an understanding of what is required of you and how important your immediate circle is to your success. Whether it’s physicians, significant others, family, friends or coworkers, staying focused with that support is crucial.  Dawn is a mother of 5, grandmother of 2, married 30+ years and has an Australian Shepherd, Coko who hikes all over with her. She loves Boxing. She transitioned into the Health and Fitness Industry because it’s what she wakes up to do and goes to sleep thinking about. She is always ready to help someone else, redefine their life.
 
Mission and vision 
Our Mission and Vision for One Accord Fitness is to continue to provide outstanding customer service with exceptional health and fitness related services. We are prepared to take that journey with you into optimal wellness. We reach those that otherwise may not walk into the typical gym by continuing to offer in home, at work or on location workouts. We want to create community within our members as well as our physical location. We strive to bring people together, a place of inclusion and have varied services to help our neighbors. We’ve had successful food drives in the past and walking events that encourage togetherness. We are here for our Veterans, to keep them active. We will be out there with our FitCamps, community and senior centers, special venue and workplace wellness training events. We plan to take part in race and event warm ups. We will keep you motivated and accountable.
               Darrin
Darrin Baker has been a Certified Personal Trainer since 2015. He is a retired Veteran of the United States Army. He served his country for 30 years. Throughout his military career, fitness has been a priority. His duties included overseeing soldiers Physical Fitness to make sure they were prepared for the semi-annual tests. His job was to ensure they pass and assist any Soldiers that fell short, to be ready for the next one. Darrin carries over his love and respect for the military by seeking opportunities to assist those battling with PTSD to have a constructive method of rewiring through physical activity to have better mental health. He would like to see more Veterans active and, on less medications, so they don’t become lost or function as zombies. In his own time, he’s maintained his own fitness level required, throughout complications, surgeries and other challenges. In the past, he completed many races from Obstacle, 5K, 10K Half and Full Marathons. Darrin has a BA in Sports Management and Recreation. He is ready to begin a journey into leading others into active, healthier lives for the long term. At One Accord Fitness, our goal is not to punish the body but appreciate it. Darrin is excited to transform lives.
